We
pride ourselves on the fact that the majority
of our business comes from the personal recommendation
of satisfied former customers.
All our local and long distance work is quoted
on a fixed price quote, we would recommend this
and we would send an estimator to your premises
to carry out a free, no obligation assessment
and quotation.
If you require, we are able to provide cartons,
transit robes, bubble wrap, tape and packing paper
for your removal. Local removal customers are
charged a small deposit per box and 50% refund
is made on all boxes returned to company with
the exception of tape, packing paper or any other
non-reusable items.
Distance removal customers are quoted prices
to include required packing materials on a purchase
basis as it is not possible to collect such customers
boxes once they have unpacked.
All removal prices quoted or charged are plus
VAT. Unless otherwise stated the price we quote
on an hourly basis or as a fixed price provides
the customer with a vehicle and a two man crew.
If you feel that you would like to use extra men
on your move we can arrange this for you. Likewise,
if we feel your job demands more manpower we shall
quote accordingly.
Two levels of service are currently offered to
our removals customers:
Standard Service
Consists of our crew collecting all items
from one address and delivering them to your
new address.
Full Packing Service
Provides men to pack your belongings, load the
vehicle and deliver to your new address. Packing
materials are charged according to the nature
of your job and as such are quoted as a separate
item.
As part of the Full Packing Service we can also
unpack your belongings at your new address,
however, this excludes the placing of items.
Our crews will place boxes in the required
rooms and unpack them for the customer to place
as required.
We are able to work to any special instructions
you may have, we must point out that this may
have a direct effect on the price we quote for
your work. If you have any questions about the

Payment for work carried out is payable on the
day of your move by cash or cheque made payable
to Mr Shifter removals.
