Based on these factors, Stockton-on-Tees found itself ranking higher than any areas across the country including areas such as Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Additionally, no area of London found itself in the Top 10 due to the high crime rates and low rates of home ownership.

The improvement in local crimes rates in Stockton-on-Tees is in no small part to the amazing work carried out due to the Safer Stockton Partnership since 2013/14.

Stockton-on-Tees has a lot to be proud of, the area is rich in year round events, diverse culture, leisure activities and it is constantly expanding to allow for more new housing projects.
